A series of graphs rendered in polar coordinates with the freeware graphing app MathGV.

There arises new imagery, kissing the face of infinity.

The primordial pattern was originally conceived with MathGV, a polar graphing app. Then the polar plot was mapped onto various forms with 3dsMAX, and those images fermented on my hard drive for a good ~18 months.

When the time was right, the renders were pulled into Photoshop and blended with highly detailed masks, simultaneously balancing the colors with adjustment layers. Finally, a photo of fire was thrown in for good measure.

Cosmic abstractions etched on paper.

As a visual sphere of perception, this arises as a function of not-phong, which suddenly becomes that which could be called phong, by an organic process of conditioned time manifestation.

Through complicated circuitry, not-phong reflects carfully prepared oscillations, giving rise to highly detailed patterns of light waves, the trunk of their fractal becoming form perceived as what could be called phong.

Ceasing it's source of emission, the illusory form of phong gradually passes, returning to the timeless void which could not be called phong.
